Terms of Service
Last updated: 2025 · NextStepUpward B.V.
These Terms govern your use of the services provided by NextStepUpward B.V. ("NextStepUpward", "we", "us"), a company registered in the Netherlands, also trading as RiseClarity and EaseMentor. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Important: our coaching and mentoring services are non-medical. They are not therapy, counselling, or medical or psychological treatment, and are not a substitute for professional medical care.
1. Our services
We provide online coaching and mentoring focused on personal development, stress and time management, sleep and habit improvement, and productivity. Services are delivered digitally through live 1-on-1 or group video sessions, digital courses, and supporting tools such as habit tracking.
2. Not medical advice
Our coaches provide guidance, education and accountability. They do not diagnose or treat any medical or mental-health condition. If you are experiencing a medical or psychological issue, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to purchase our services. By booking, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
4. Booking and payment
- Prices are shown at checkout and may include VAT where applicable.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe and Mollie. Payment is charged at checkout.
- NextStepUpward B.V. is the Merchant of Record for all purchases and issues receipts and invoices.
- Memberships renew automatically each month until cancelled.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Your responsibilities
- Attend booked sessions on time and engage in good faith.
- Provide a suitable environment and internet connection for video calls.

7. Coaches
Sessions are delivered by vetted coaches working with us under service contracts. We may reassign a coach where necessary to maintain continuity of service.
8. Intellectual property
All course materials, content, and tools we provide remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own development. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share our materials without written permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to record sessions without consent, harass coaches or staff, or use the services in any way that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful to others.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextStepUpward is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Because our services are non-medical coaching, results vary and are not guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch or EU consumer law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence continue to apply. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless the law provides otherwise.
